Wow what can I say we came here on Christmas Eve and walked along it. Pretty unique now as it still has bars on the harbour Arm. Shut on Christmas Eve but a bustle of activity in the summer a must have day out. Well done Margate for keeping this treasure open........
Whatever the season this is a quaint and quiet place to have a drink. Situated at the very end of Margate Pier the views are lovely, from June through to October the Sunsets' are so breathtakingly beautifully they're hard to beat. You can understand why Turner chose Margate Harbour for some of his most famous paintings.
