Dont waste your time..Couldn't even call through to tavern to see if kitchen open, kept going to the bottleshop where saff had no idea what's going on and best of all.. Friday night and kitchen closed before 730pm. No wonder snug tavern is popular while this place just sinks. I'm a local and won't be ever going here again. Good luck Margate tavern you need it........

Awesome night. Last minute private function which they were more than willing to help and support with. Staff were great and friendly, meetings any of our requests. Food were great sizes for reasonable prices. Highly recommend for your next event, or just dinner.And no pokies!
Wonderfully managed by Tom Atkins and his partner Maria. Mouth watering menu, Tom is an experienced Chef & the bar menu is mouth watering proof of his talent both in the kitchen & behind the bar. A pleasant friendly country tavern.
